Lunchtime Concert: Shannon Pittaway & Friends – NZSO trombones

NZSO Principal bass trombonist Shannon Pittaway performs Schnyder’s fiendishly difficult “Duo Concertante” with NZSO Sectional Principal Trombone David Bremner and a fresh take on Duke Ellington’s beautiful “Passion Flower/Single Petal of a Rose” with NZSO Associate Principal Matthew Allison. He will also be performing standard works for bass trombone and piano including Tomasi’s “To be or not to be”.
