St Andrew’s Zoom service

• 10am – you are invited to join Zoom and greet other people.
  If you answer your phone during this period, please mute your PC until you are finished.
• 10:12 everyone will be muted – musician to play Prelude (2mins)
• 10:15 Leader begins service (making sure they are unmuted.)
  If you don’t want to be distracted by lots of faces, it is worthwhile at this point to go to the top right-hand corner of your screen and choose “Speaker view” so only the speaking person will be visible.
• People doing the readings and the prayers need to remember unmute themselves and mute themselves again when they’ve finished.
• If you need to get a message to someone during the service, please select the particular person from the blue drop-down list in the chat function.  It can be very distracting for others to have chat messages popping up when they’re trying to focus on the service.
• At end of service Zoom will continue as people continue to greet and say goodbye.  You will need to unmute yourself in order to do this. (Controls for your inbuilt camera and microphone are at the bottom left of the screen.)
