ABOUT YUZHANG Yuzhang Wu is a year 12 student in Pinehurst School, Auckland. Recognised as the most outstanding young pianist of her generation, her many achievements both nationally and internationally include:
- Grieg Piano Concerto in A minor with the Chamber Orchestra in Tianjin Grand Theatre, China and in the Auckland Town Hall (2018)
- 1st prize at the 3rd Zhuhai International Mozart Competition for Young Musicians in China (2019)
- Mozart Piano Concerto KV414 at the Eurochestries Festival Qingdao China (2019)
- Saint Saens Carnival of the Animals with the APO in Auckland Town Hall (2020)
- Beethoven Piano Concerto no.3 with the NZSO at the Young Artists Showcase (2022)
