Lunchtime Concert: Flute Squadron

Members of the RNZAF Symphonic Band – Rebecca Steel, Karen Batten, Elizabeth Bush-King and Mitch McEwan – present an eclectic programme including a delightful work for cat lovers, “Cats” by Marc Berthomieu in five movements:- Persian Blue, Puma, Siamese, Lynx and Perching Cat.
Can it be a coincidence that the composer’s name has a mieu (meow) in it?
Add to this, some arrangements of favourites by Grieg and Debussy for a most delightful lunchtime feast.
