Lectures held at St Andrew's are organised by the St Andrew’s Trust for the Study of Religion and Society
Korimako Trio : Helene Pohl, violin; Rolf Gjelsten, cello; Michael Endres, piano

Join us for a concert to celebrate our first anniversary
on Nov 6 at St Andrew’s on the Tce at 7.00pm
Programme:
The concert opens with Zemlinsky’s Trio in D Minor, a late 19th century example of Viennese Romanticism, lyrical, dense and emotionally expressive. This is followed by Janacek’s Violin Sonata (for violin and piano) deeply dramatic with folk elements. A return to Romanticism with Chopin’s Introduction and Polonaise Brillante in C major, for cello and piano follows and the concert concludes with Haydn’s Piano trio in A major (Hob.XV), bright and witty, with plenty of classical charm. A beautifully varied journey through four distinct musical eras, balancing full trio textures with virtuoso duo highlights.
