"Why? What theological changes led to the Protestant Reformation?" We begin our October Reformation series reflecting on the changes in theology which led to the Reformation. We also celebrate communion (Itself a hot topic in Reformation times!)
Where did the Reformation have its birth and why? What was it about Europe and Scotland which helped different ideas flourish? Why were local political leaders willing to back the new theology? We reflect on these things in the second of our October Reformation series.
In Geneva, four reformers are commemorated on the famous Reformers' Wall. Who are they and why were they reformers? Also, what did the ordinary people contribute to the Reformation? We reflect on these things in the third of our October Reformation series
