Lunchtime Concert: NZSM Brass Ensemble

The NZSM Brass Ensemble led by Shannon Pittaway performs an interesting and varied programme including serious brass repertoire such as Koetiser’s “Symphony of Brass” and lighter in style but technically demanding “Londoner in New York” by Jim Parker commissioned by the Philip Jones Brass Ensemble. NZSM trombone soloist Leo Read will be featured, performing a solo trombone arrangement of “Londonderry Air”, led by NZSM conducting student Jackson McCarthy.
