How Can You Help?

Donate
You can shave $1.00 off your Income Tax for every $3.00 you donate to DCM, with a maximum rebate of $600. To make a donation click here

Rather than making the occasional one-off donation you may wish to consider making a smaller, but more regular, donation to DCM through an automatic payment. This is particulary helpful for DCM as it gives us a steady income which we can rely on. You will receive an official receipt for tax purposes each financial year.

Please print out and fill in the Automatic Payment Authority Form, and post it to your bank or to DCM, PO Box 6133 Marion Sq. Wellington.

Books
DCM is now accepting books for the Bookfair year round. So if you've got some books you want to get rid of please drop them into the Compassion House offices at 2 Lukes Lane (off Taranaki St) or hold onto them until Bookfair collections start in late May and we'll come and pick them up!

Volunteer
Over 100 volunteers help DCM in the office and food bank as well as with our Bookfair and Food Day. If you want to volunteer call our volunteer coordinator on 385-5608 or email events (at) dcm.org.nz

Leave a Bequest
Generous bequests allow DCM to undertake developments we dream of doing but don't have the resources for.

DCM's Board believes our work is best served by permitting any legacy or gifts to be used for general purposes which are important at the time the funds become available.

We would be very grateful if you could include the Downtown Community Ministry in your will.

Another way to acknowledge the lifetime interests of a deceased family member is to ask for donations to be made to DCM in lieu of floral tributes or to consider donating books from an estate to the Bookfair.
